Dear Hampton Family,
Welcome to the new school year! I am excited to start the 2024-25 school year as principal at Hampton Middle School. Our teachers and staff are looking forward to meeting and working with our students, parents, and community members. We strongly believe our families are an invaluable part of our school community. Hampton will continue to be a school community where we value diversity, differences, and make decisions that address the needs of our students.
I began my teaching career in New York City Public Schools and later moved to Virginia to work as a 7th Grade Math Teacher in Fairfax County Public Schools. After two years of teaching in Fairfax County, I decided to continue my career as an educator in Prince William County Public Schools. The 2024-2025 school year will be my twenty-third year as an educator in Prince William County. I began my career in Prince William County Public Schools as a middle school math teacher at Beville Middle School. In 2004, I was appointed Assistant Principal at Stonewall Middle School and in 2006, Assistant Principal at Beville Middle School. In August of 2006, I served as Principal at New Dominion Alternative Center and now as Principal of Hampton Middle School. My goal is to create a learning environment where students grow in knowledge, teachers actively engage students in rigorous learning, and parents continue to be our partners in education.
