Up-to-date information can be found through Regulation 724-1: Attendance, Absences, Excuses, and Tardies

• Trips/travel are unexcused absences
• Principals no longer have the discretion to excuse absences for extenuating circumstances
• Principals may request a doctor's note after:
  • Three consecutive days of absence due to illness
  • Nine days of absence due to illness during the school year
