Students who earn a minimum of 50 hours will be presented with the service award and medal at the end of the year awards ceremony. 1. Visit the website http://freerice.com/
and earn community and service hours for each hour your play the vocabulary games and earn rice for developing countries.

2. Help a Teacher at School. Teachers are always in need of helpers at school. Students need to check with a teacher and have written permission from a parent in order to stay with a teacher. Contact your favorite teacher. Students helping out at elementary schools need to contact the school before arriving at the school to help out a teacher.

3. Participate in service activities at school. Listen to the morning announcements and look for posters around the school advertising ways to help others and participate in the Hampton community.
