IBMYP Information Nights for 2016-17 school year
Parents and their students are invited to attend the information nights to learn more about the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme at Hampton Middle School. The sessions are designed for students who will be attending Hampton next year for the first time. The sessions are identical so you will only need to attend the one that suits your schedule.

Tuesday, January 5, 2017 at 7:00 pm in the Lecture Hall
Application Information for 2017-2018
The online application should be available the first week of November. You can access the online application by clicking on the link above. Please list your choices in order of preference. You can change your application by applying again. The most recently dated application will count. All applications must be submitted by Feb. 1, 2017.
Community and Service Opportunities
All students at Hampton Middle School will participate in service learning through their classroom and school activities. Students are no longer required to log their community and service hours. However, for those students who are think they might earn 50 or more hours of community service, consideration should be given to log their hours on the community and service form located at the bottom of this page. Students who earn a minimum of 50 hours will be presented with the service award and medal at the end of the year awards ceremony. Forms must be completed and turned in to Mrs. Parker by May 6, 2017. Please contact Mrs. Parker if you have any questions.
1. Visit the
website http://freerice.com/ and earn community and service hours for each hour your play the vocabulary games and earn rice for developing countries.
2. Help a Teacher at School. Teachers are always in need of helpers at school. Students need to check with a teacher and have written permission from a parent in order to stay with a teacher. Contact your favorite teacher. Students helping out at elementary schools need to contact the school before arriving at the school to help out a teacher.
3. Participate in service activities at school. Listen to the morning announcements and look for posters around the school advertising ways to help others and participate in the Godwin community.
